The 800-year old St John the Baptist Church forms a unique backdrop to this wonderful garden, complete with fruit trees,walled garden and even the odd guinea fowl! June should be the perfect time to see the herbaceous borders in all their glory.

The garden is accessible via public transport on either the 108 bus from Oxford (Powell Close bus stop), or the H5 to Beckley (Beckley Turn bus stop). The house is a 1.5 mile walk from the crematorium.

For those coming by car, there is parking at the village hall, or at College House by arrangement for those with limited mobility. Please call the CPRE office in advance 01491 612079.

Please note that the garden is reasonably level but is not fully wheelchair accessible. Assistance dogs only.

The garden will be open from 2pm-7pm, with last entry at 6pm.

Tea/coffee will also be available - donations welcome.
